The nominal screw trajectories proximally on the POYA-L plate provide for a fan-shaped positioning of the screws into the tibial plateau. Additionally, the TIC screw holes enable maximum flexibility for screw placement using variable angle locking technology.

  • Variable Angle Locking Screws

    Thanks to the TIC™-technology our 3.5mm Variable Angle Locking Screws can be locked with an audible click to the TIC™-Screw holes. Using the same diameter as the Cortex Screws only one screw driver is necessary in the OR. For the POYA plates, the VA Locking Screws are available in lengths from 10-90mm with an increment of 2mm for screw lengths up to 60mm and an increment of 5mm until 90mm.

    Thanks to a consistent diameter throughout the system, our 3.5mm Cortex Screws can be placed in all TIC™-Screw holes. For the POYA plates, the Cortex Screws are available in lengths from 10-90mm with an increment of 2mm for screw lengths up to 50mm and an increment of 5mm until 90mm.
